This season has put David Pastrnak into the Superstar category of NHL players, and it turns, out that fellow Czech and teammate David Krejci saw it coming.

Pasta's Time to Shine

The trio Jaromir Jagr, David Krejci and David Pastrnak share one things in common: They're three of the best players from Czechia to play in the NHL.

Krejci, the lifelong Bruin, has been blessed to play with both Jagr and Pastrnak in his career. Two guys that he describes as possibly the two best to come from his home country. In an interview with NHL.com, Krejci even went as far as predicting Pasta's incredible transformation into a superstar.

'I wouldn't compare him to Jagr. Jagr was Jagr.''

'But I think [Pastrnak], he's going to be known as David Pastrnak, one of the greats, especially from [the] Czech [Republic]. If you go down in the history book, you're going to see Jagr in the '90s, early 2000s, and then you're going to have Pastrnak.''

"I wouldn't compare them, but I would put them in their own category and no one's getting close to them.''

As Krejci eluded to, although both Jagr and Pasta were/are among the top pool of players at their respective primes of their careers, of course, but they are a different style of player.

Pastrnak sits at 300 career goals in under 600 games (590), and is on pace to crush Jagr's of 766 career goals that leads all Czech-born NHL players.
