David Pastrnak disrespected by the NHL after a recent announcement
The cover of EA's NHL 2025 has been released, and it's a doozy as it features a family of hockey players on the cover.
Literally, it has Luke, Jack, and Quinn Hughes on the cover, which is exciting if you're a Canucks or Devils fan.
However, it does seem like a bit of a backhand to NHL players who have been greats in the NHL long-term and never have gotten to grace an EA cover.
That includes David Pastrnak, whose pedigree includes a Gold Medal in the IIHF World Championship last season, and is a consistent goal-score for the Boston Bruins.
In the last two seasons, he's scored 110 and 113 points and hasn't had a season under 48 points in 2015-2016.
It seems like Pasta should be the right choice? I guess not!
While we understand EA's triangulation towards some of the newer crowd of NHL fans, Pastrnak has just as much, if not more personality than all three Hughes brothers combined.
But for now, we just hope the Canucks lose.
Alexa, play Barbie Girl.
