David Pastrnak just admitted the Toronto Maple Leafs are a better team then the Boston Bruins
David Pastrnak is currently on tour with the NHL Players Media Tour in his homeland of Prague, Czechia.
During the tour, he was interviewed and asked about the Toronto Maple Leafs, which he admitted he thinks the long-time Bruins rivals, are better than his own team.
This is ironic, given the fact that Pasta was the one to seal the Maple Leafs fate scoring the game-winning goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Media Tour is a major initiative by the NHL to grow its fanbase overseas, and Pastrnak of course is a major feature on the tour. During the interview, he would be asked about the Bruins regular season and he thought that the Maple Leafs were a tough underdog team.
"He's excited about their additions. 'We proved a lot of people wrong, last year we were not even supposed to make the playoffs. We beat a better team on paper (Toronto).'"
Do you think with the latest additions to the roster, did the Bruins improve on paper as well? Are they prepared for a deep run in the playoffs?
