Don Sweeney missed out on top available free agent
Boston Bruins General Manager just missed out on another top free agent.
It was just announced that Daniel Sprong and the Vancouver Canucks have agreed to terms on a contract.
Elliotte Friedman broke the news that the top available free agent in Daniel Sprong signed a one-year deal with the Vancouver Canucks at an AAV of $975,000.

Sprong was one of the top available free agents left on the free agent market and Don Sweeney missed out on acquiring him.
In 76 regular season games with the Detroit Red Wings, Daniel Sprong put up 18 goals, 25 assists for 43 points while playing a depth roll with the Red Wings.
