The seasoned NHL forward, Nick Foligno, boasts a storied career marked by numerous playoff battles against top-tier teams.

However, imagine the frustration of once again falling to divisional rivals, the St. Louis Blues, where the Hawks conceded four goals while managing only two themselves.

Visualize the game here.

Post-game, Foligno candidly addressed reporters, particularly expressing dissatisfaction with some younger teammates. He remarked, "[Your hair] should be on fire this whole year.

Because you could be a big part of building this and being a part of the future of this. There is no excuse for that."

Foligno's frustration extended to the team's early-game performance, urging a greater commitment to compete. He stressed,

"Twenty games in you kind of understand the league a little bit or you should. I'm not saying it's gonna be perfect, but there's got to be a little bit more of a commitment to that."

His impassioned plea continued, emphasizing players' motivation throughout the year and their crucial role in building the team's future.

"Every time we step on the ice, find your motivation whatever it may be. I can think about 10 (things) already and I'm a 36-year-old guy. So that should through every guy in this room."

Given Foligno's past success as a member of the team that won the President's Trophy last year, he undoubtedly holds high standards for himself and his teammates, aspiring to instill that competitive spirit in Chicago.

The lingering question now arises will Foligno's attitude prove infectious after this candid interview?
