Thompson Officially Traded To The Boston Bruins Divisional Rival
The hockey landscape witnessed a shake-up as the New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils announced a trade today.
In this recent transaction, the New York Islanders added Tyce Thompson to their roster, sending Arnaud Durandeau in the opposite direction.
Various sources have confirmed the trade, signaling a swap that brings Tyce, the brother of standout Tage Thompson, to the Islanders. Tyce has displayed his skills with 5 points in 15 AHL games this season. In return, the Devils acquire Arnaud Durandeau, who has accumulated 4 points in 12 AHL games.
Both 24-year-old forwards now have the opportunity for a fresh start with their new teams. Their performance in the upcoming opportunities will undoubtedly shape the outcome of this trade.
