Former Bruin Nick Foligno takes a shot at management and teammates
The Chicago Blackhawks had Nick Foligno this season to help the young players. He's a veteran and a leader. The team has lots of young players, so Foligno was important for keeping them together.
After the last game of the season, Foligno said he was frustrated. He thinks things need to change. He said,
"We have to change. I want to change. We can't go through this again. And I certainly won't allow it."
He thinks the team needs a new mindset or new people in charge.
«We have to change. I want to change. We can't go through this again. And I certainly won't allow it.
«Either the mindset changes from the group or personnel changes.»

Even though the season ended disappointingly, Foligno still wants to stay with the Blackhawks. He has a contract until 2026-2027 and will earn $4.5 million next season.
Some people think Foligno should be the team captain because of his leadership. But is he the right choice? That's something the team needs to figure out as they plan for the future.
