A heated altercation between NHL players Ryan Reaves and Garnet Hathaway during a game this afternoon has caught the attention of many fans. The incident occurred in the late stages of the first period and required the intervention of referees to prevent it from escalating.
Reaves Makes a Fool Out of Himself
The altercation began when Hathaway took offense to a hard hit by Reaves near the Bruins bench. The two engaged in a shoving match, and Hathaway held his own against the fiery enforcer. As the referees intervened to separate the players, Hathaway took the opportunity to slip back onto the Bruins bench, while Reaves was restrained by officials.
