Heartbreaking moment shared between David Pastrnak and his daughter before game against Florida Panthers
The Boston Bruins were once again defeated by the Florida Panthers, 4-3 today as they just couldn't hold off the Cats.
Even without Matthew Tkachuk, and Aleksander Barkov, it seems Jim Montgomery cannot figure them out.
But let's rewind to pre-game, as prior to the matchup every NHL skater takes part in warmups, skating around the ice and preparing for the difficult match ahead.
One of those players who was skating around today, had family present at the game, as David Pastrnak's daughter Freya, and wife Rebecca were in attendance today.
While the team was warming up, David Pastrnak skated to where Freya and Rebecca were sitting.
Freya lit up as, David would come by and say hi during warmups, as he lightly tapped on the ice, as Freya was front and center excited to see her dad in uniform.
But Pastrnak is dedicated to the game, and would quickly return to skate, to shooting pucks to ensure he was ready to go today in an early game against the Panthers.
Her reaction though, was heartbreaking, as she cried after he skated away.
Of course, she didn't exactly know that Pastrnak had to play a game tonight and instead wanted more time with her father.
This was another case of Freya's personality on display and she was prominent during last year's All-Star Game, in which Pastrnak took a part.
Hopefully, this won't be the last time we get to see Freya being Freya, as she has enthralled Bruins fandom, with her adorable actions.
