Jake DeBrusk reveals his true colours towards the Boston Bruins
Jake DeBrusk revealed his true colours towards the Boston Bruins.
In a recent statement Jake DeBrusk revealed his true feelings towards the Boston Bruins after spending his entire career, up until this point with the team.
In 7 years Jake DeBrusk has been in the NHL, he has played all of his games with the Boston Bruins, putting up 266 points in 465 games.
Jake DeBrusk revealed that during his time with the team, he requested two trades at different times.
«When it came out, it was very uncomfortable,» he said. «It was very uncomfortable going into the rink the next day and talk to the guys in the room. The guys that were there were the biggest reason why I got out of that situation, that side of things. They had my back; they were with me through it all and they were all good with me. They understood why in the room, they knew it was just me trying to find a better fit for my career to have a longer NHL career and a better chance at something.»
Unfortunatley for the Boston Bruins, they ended up losing him for nothing during free agency this year.
Now Jake DeBrusk is moving forward with his career as he signed a 7-year $5.5 million deal with the Vancouver Canucks where he feels they have a very good chance at making a run for the Stanley Cup.
On November 26th the Boston Bruins will be taking on the Vancouver Canucks in Jake DeBrusk's return to TD Garden.
