The Boston Bruins got outplayed last night against the New York Rangers, losing the game 5-2. The Bruins had a good amount of NHL players dressed for the game, including Nikita Zadorov who fans were eager to see play, but many were left disappointed with how Zadorov played, and the Bruins in general.
Following the game, head coach Jim Montgomery spoke with the media, and told them how he felt about the game, here is what he had to say:
There were some players that played, and looked really good for the Bruins, but this was more towards the players that didn't play to what standard Montgomery holds them too.
The good thing is that we are still only in preseason, and the team has time to get ready for the regular season.
The bad is that the Bruins look like they are going to really struggle without Jeremy Swayman, you just hope that Swayman and the Bruins agree on a deal soon.
