Boston Bruins head coach is set to make a last minute decision regarding the Boston Bruins goaltending situation for tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche.

The Bruins are going to be in for a tough matchup as the Colorado Avalanche have yet to win a game this season, and will be looking to do so tonight against the Bruins.

Jim Montgomery was asked by reporters who is going to be the starting goaltender for tonight's game, and it seems he is playing mind games with the Colorado Avalanche, as he refused to answer the reporters questions regarding the starting goaltender.

Jim Montgomery on lineup changes for tonight's #NHLBruins game vs. the Avalanche: «Riley Tufte and Max Jones are in playing on the third line with Matt Poitras taking out Morgan Geekie and Justin Brazeau....in net I'm not going to say right now."

Montgomery, even though he wouldn't speak on who was going to start in net for the Boston Bruins, he did state other line changes that were going to take place for tonight's game.

«Riley Tufty and Max Jones are in playing on the third line with Matt Poitras taking out Morgan Geekie and Justin Brazeau.»

Both of Boston Bruins goaltenders have been struggling lately, although Joonas Korpisalo has only appeared in one game so far, he allowed 6 goals in that game. Jeremy Swayman hasn't been great either allowing 4 goals in the 4-3 loss to Florida while facing 26 shots. The goaltending and scoring problems for the Bruins have been a big problem early to start the season.

Jeremy Swayman so far has not lived up to his contract, that he sat out all training camp, and preseason in order to get. Swayman signed a massive 8-year, $8.25 million deal just two days before the regular season started, and he has looked rusty.

The Boston Bruins are still being held to high expectations this season after making some big moves bringing in Elias Lindholm, and Nikita Zadorov who are supposed to help them be a more competitive team this season, and make a deeper run in the playoffs.
