Jim Montgomery Set To Make Major Change To This Line
Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery is considering a defensive lineup change, eyeing Mason Lohrei and Andrew Peeke as potential partners.
Montgomery expressed optimism about the pairing, highlighting Lohrei's physicality and Peeke's offensive prowess with a defensive mindset.
Observing their chemistry in practice will determine their suitability on the ice.
Jim Montgomery on looking at the Lohrei and Peeke pairing: «I'm not one hundred percent...we wanted to see it in practice today...ideally, it looks good, right? A guy that's stiff and physical, against a guy that's a puck mover and more offensive guy with a more defensive mind."
If successful, this defensive shift could bolster the Bruins' backline and add versatility to their defensive strategies.
