This idea has been floated since the Bruins are during a potential retool or even rebuild that has been mentioned for the last two years. McAvoy would certainly attract many teams and could bring a large return to the Bruins as they look to open a new window with David Pastrnak, Jeremy Swayman and Brad Marchand. The Bruins do not hold a draft pick till the fourth round of this year and with the likelihood of Linus Ullmark being traded in the next couple of weeks could certainly bolster their draft hopes.
