The Bruins made several small moves in order to improve the depth within the organization during NHL free agency. But the one that seemed to be the most important for Boston fans was bringing back fan favorite, Milan Lucic.

Milan Lucic signed a one-year $1 million deal that brought the rough winger back to Boston.

Lucic is expected to receive one of the loudest ovations ever when he returns to the ice in a Bruins uniform at TD Garden on Wednesday, October 18th, at 7:30 p.m. against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The former and now current Bruin is one of the best fighters, and there are slim pickings now a days. So with him officially back in Boston, let's look back at his top ten fights in a Bruins sweater.

No. 10 Vs. Nick Tarnasky

Fresh into the league, Milan Lucic was looking to take names and so he did. Going head-to-head with Nick Tarnasky during the Bruin's home opener on October 18th, 2007. Nick was a tough guy in his own right, he would become the first player to ever fight Lucic.

No. 9 Vs. Jared Boll

On December 15th, 2007, Lucic had a tilt with known Columbus Blue Jackets tough guy Jared Boll, who was third in the league in penalty minutes going into that night and was also still just a rookie.

No. 8 Vs. Paul Gaustad

Ah yes, the infamous interview with Ryan Miller, calling Lucic «gutless».
On November 12th, 2011, against the Buffalo Sabres, Lucic had a chance for a breakaway but had the puck roll ahead of him when Sabres goalie Ryan Miller came out to play the puck. Instead of dodging Miller, Lucic, ran right through him.

The Buffalo Sabres got revenge at a later date on November 23rd, 2011. Lucic and Gaustad dropped the gloves, and it didn't last long as Lucic would land a couple of rights and take down Gaustad.

No. 7 Vs. David Clarkson

On December 13th, 2007, Lucic would scrap against his first true heavy opponent, in David Clarkson. A young New Jersey Devils winger who has a reputation for being all over the penalty sheet.

The two players were tied up before both started throwing heavy rights and having a great exchange.

No. 6 Vs. Nick Boynton

On November 21st, 2008, Lucic finished a check on Florida Panthers forward Micheal Frolik. Frolik's teammate Nick Boynton came to Froliks's aid, instantly challenging Lucic to drop the gloves, and the rest is history.

No. 5 Vs. Keith Aulie

On April 25th, 2013, the Bruins played the Tampa Lightning, in which a scrap occurred in the corner right after Lucic finished a hit on Aulie, who then returned a couple of cross-checks, which agitated the Bruin's winger. Resulting in the knuckles to come out.

No. 4 Vs. Jarkko Ruuto

On February 28th, 2008, Lucic tangoed with Pittsburgh Penguins' eight-year veteran Jarko Ruutu, a well known fighter around the league. This was a classic bout between two guys who could really throw em.

No. 3 Vs. Jay Harrison

On October 3rd, 2009, the Bruins hosted the Carolina Hurricanes in a wild game which accumulated 92 combined penalty minutes featuring multiple scraps. One of course involving Lucic, after he finished a hit on Hurricanes defenseman Jay Harrison who took exception to that.

No. 2 Vs. Mark Bell

On November 15th, 2007, Lucic squared off with Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Mark Bell, who was a known fighter around the league and was also the same height and weight as Lucic during this tilt.

No. 1 Vs. Mike Komisarek

On November 13th, 2008, the Bruins took on their rival Montreal Canadiens. In a game where the Boston Bruins had the Canadiens number, beating them all over the ice that night on the scoreboard and physically. With 12:35 left in the third period and Bruins winning 5-1, Lucic got tangled up with Montreal defenseman Mike Komisarek and the two had been at each other's throats the entire game.
