Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery just blew a gasket on Brad Marchand on the bench after the captain had a terrible turnover in the defensive zone that lead to a goal.

Brad Marchand made a terrible play in the offensive zone, and he would end up turning the puck over to an Utah player. Following the turn over Hampus Lindholm ended up blowing a tire allowing Kyler Yamamoto to bury the rebound.

1-1. What is Marchand doing at his offensive blue line? That's all on him. Stupid play.

The Boston Bruins would ultimately end up challenging the play for being offside, but while that was happening, there was some drama happening behind the Bruins bench.

Marchand turns the puck over, Lindholm blows a tire and Yamamoto buries a rebound.

Bruins are challenging for offside.

While the Boston Bruins were challenging for offside on the goal after the terrible turnover by Brad Marchand, Jim Montgomery was clearly not happy with the captain and was letting him hear about it on the bench.

A clip was posted to X (twitter) showing Jim Montgomery ripping into Brad Marchand following the goal. We aren't quite sure what Montgomery was saying, but we can say for sure that he wasn't saying anything nice at all.

Jumbo yelling at Marchand

Brad Marchand caught a break though, as the goal would end up being called back after Utah was offside, but Jim Montgomery expects better from the captain.

That's offsides

Later in the period, Utah would score another one and this time it would count to tie up the game at one a piece.
