The Bruins pulled off a 3-1 win over the Panthers in game one but it was without captain Patrice Bergeron, who has been dealing with an illness for some time.
Still Not Skating
With the team holding an optional skate on Tuesday morning, head coach Jim Montgomery provided an update on his captain.
As per Joe Haggerty of Boston Hockey Now:
''Patrice Bergeron is feeling better and is 'questionable'' for Game 2, according to Jim Montgomery. He won't skate with the team today.''
It's concerning that Bergeron still isn't skating at all, but having him 100% - or close to - is the most important. The Bruins depth also proved what it's capable of by winning game one without him.
Game two is set for Wednesday night back at TD Garden. Stay tuned for updates!
