Multiple Boston Bruins players react to finding out the passing of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau
The Boston Bruins are set to receive Elias Lindholm, a former teammate of Johnny Gaudreau, into the fold. His passing has been devastating to fans, friends, family, and players across the NHL.
Of course, it doesn't just affect one person, but many who he impacted through his presence.
Two Bruins players shared their reaction to the death of Johnny(31) and Matthew(29) Gaudreau who died after being struck by an alleged drunk driver.
Both Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau played for the Boston College Eagles and Matthew also played for the ECHL's Worcester Railers.
Hampus Lindholm would extend his sympathies to the Gaudreau family.
"Sending prayers to the Gaudreau family. Unimaginable," McAvoy wrote on his Instagram story.
"RIP," Lindholm wrote on his Instagram story.
Matthew and Johnny were in town for their sisters wedding this weekend, before the tragedy of Thursday night struck.
