Proof Don Sweeney ruined the Boston Bruins franchise has surfaced
The Boston Bruins may have a problem, as they haven't made a 1st round pick in 2021, which involved drafting Fabian Lysell.
The problem is, that the Bruins may be in for a rude awakening if they can't make it to the Stanley Cup Finals in the next season or two, as they may have to rebuild from the bottom up.
Of course, if you've watched Bruins hockey lately, they have winning pieces but not a roster that could win a cup arguably.
Thanks to Don Sweeney, who has drafted only 7 players during his tenure who are currently Boston Bruins:
This leaves, only Jeremy Swayman, Brandon Carlo, and Charlie McAvoy being pieces you can win a Cup with arguably.
While many of the players mentioned are still green, they're not yet proven like Brad Marchand.
Does GM Don Sweeney have a good eye for talent?
This lineup couldn't get it done against the Florida Panthers, maybe there should be a fresh perspective here.
