The Boston Bruins made multiple interesting last minute roster moves ahead of their game against the New York Rangers.

The Boston Bruins are set to faceoff against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden tonight and it will be their second game of their three-game road trip after playing in Washington on Tuesday.

Head coach Joe Sacco has made some interesting roster moves ahead of puck drop as Oliver Wahlstrom will sub back into the Bruins lineup after being healthy scratched for the past two games.

He also confirmed that Marc McLaughlin will come back out of the lineup in place of Wahlstrom. Although Wahlstrom is coming back into the lineup tonight, he will be placed with new linemates as he will be going down to the Bruins fourth line tonight.

Here is what Sacco had to say about Wahlstrom subbing back into the Bruins lineup tonight:

«(Wahlstrom will play with the) second unit on the power play,» Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco said, per team-provided transcript. «Marc McLaughlin will come out. Wahly will come in on that (fourth) line. I've said before, it's probably not an ideal spot for him, but it's a chance for him to get back in the lineup and that's the most important thing he's a shooter, he can add some offense to that line, too, we're hoping - and then on the power play, too, with the second group.»

Jeremy Swayman was the Bruins first goaltender off of the ice tonight hinting that he is expected to start the game against the New York Rangers.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET as the Bruins gear up to take on the New York Rangers in an Original Six matchup.
