Surprise announcement involving Patrice Bergeron and Zdeno Chara

He also left the Bruins organization tied with the next Captain Patrice Bergeron in Game 7 playoff appearances, the most by any one player in NHL history.
This goes to show how dominant the Bruins have been in the past and how high the standards are to play here.
Zdeno Chara spent 14 years of his long NHL career with the Boston Bruins, playing 1023 games, scoring 481 points( 148 G, 331 A) in Black and Gold.
And in another amazing statistic, Chara has seen post-season play every year in his NHL career, up until the 2020-2021 season playing with the Washington Capitals, who were 3 years outside of their Stanley Cup championship.
The guy is addicted to winning.
