Some big takeaways from the Boston Bruins overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators in Linus Ullmarks return to TD Garden.

Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark got what could be their last goalie hug together, along with that Linus Ullmark got a strong standing ovation from Bruins fans.

Not only did Ullmark get a hug along with an ovation, he got the last laugh and bragging rights over his buddy, Jeremy Swayman as he ended up coming away with the win in his return to TD Garden.

It's no secret that the Boston Bruins care for Linus Ullmark, but regardless of their feelings towards him, they were all playing to come away with a win.

Unfortunately the Boston Bruins had 0 shots in the third period, and woul end up losing the game 21 seconds into overtime when Brady Tkachuk would score the game winner for the Ottawa Senators.

The Boston Bruins offence once again let them down. They ended up scoring two quick goals in the second period, as they were just 15 seconds apart, but other then that they had nothing to show for.

The Bruins tried to make too many passes, instead of just simplifying their game by putting pucks on net. This would lead to them getting 0 shots in the third period which has not happened since 2007 for the Bruins.

The power play for the Bruins once again was not good, even though they had plenty of offensive zone time, they went 0-2. If the Bruins had a decent power play this year they might have a better record then 7-7-2 on the year.

Not just their power play, but shooting the puck in general has been a problem for the Bruins, and in their game against the Senators the Bruins only put up 16 shots in total.

Something needs to happen soon, or else there is a good chance we see some big changes come out of the Bruins organization this year.
