The Boston Bruins have revealed when they are set to honour longtime voice Jack Edwards.

The Boston Bruins and NESN will honor longtime announcer Jack Edwards during Sunday night's game against the Seattle Kraken at TD Garden.

The Bruins plan to recognize Edwards' career and his deep impact on the team and fans with a special ceremony before the game.

«Jack has been a big part of the Bruins for years,» said Bruins CEO Charlie Jacobs. «His love for the game and connection with our fans made watching Bruins hockey even more exciting. We're looking forward to celebrating his nearly 20 years as a key part of the Bruins' story.»

Edwards retired in April after 19 years as the Bruins' play-by-play voice on NESN.

«Jack brought energy and passion to every broadcast, making games unforgettable for fans all across New England,» added NESN's COO Matt Volk. «We're grateful for Jack's years with us and happy to celebrate his contributions tonight at TD Garden and on NESN.»

Sunday's game will feature special Jack Edwards-themed activities and entertainment at the Garden. Fans can also purchase limited-edition Jack Edwards gear, including shirts and commemorative pucks, at the ProShop powered by '47 or online at BostonProShop.com.
