The Boston Bruins Have Made An Emergency Call Up
Today, December 7, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney made an announcement regarding goaltender Brandon Bussi. The team has called up Bussi from Providence on an emergency basis.
In the current season, the 25-year-old goalie has participated in 12 games with Providence, boasting a record of 6-4-2, a 2.58 goals-against average, and a .917 save percentage.
Standing at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 218 pounds, Bussi has accumulated 49 career AHL games with Providence, holding an overall record of 31-11-6. Originally signed by Boston as a free agent in 2022, the Sound Beach, New York native brings his talents to the Bruins' roster.
