Forward Jesper Boqvist summon from Providence
On December 12, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney declared the team's decision to summon forward Jesper Boqvist from Providence.
Boqvist, aged 25, has participated in a single game with Boston this season.
Standing at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 184 pounds, the forward has showcased his skills in 24 games with Providence, amassing five goals and nine assists, totaling 14 points for the season.
Boqvist's NHL journey spans 190 games with both Boston and New Jersey, where he has accumulated 28 goals and 27 assists, contributing to a total of 55 points. Hailing from Falun, Sweden, Boqvist was initially chosen by New Jersey in the second round (36th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
