Jesper Boqvist has been recalled
In a recent announcement, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney shared changes to the team's lineup.
Forward Jesper Boqvist has been recalled, while forward Georgii Merkulov has been assigned to Providence.
Boqvist, at 25, boasts two appearances with Boston this season.
Additionally, he has showcased his skills in 31 games with Providence, amassing 23 points with 10 goals and 13 assists. With 191 NHL games under his belt, Boqvist brings valuable experience, having previously played for both Boston and New Jersey.
On the other hand, Merkulov, 23, has seen action in four Boston games this season. In Providence, he has contributed significantly with 30 points, combining 14 goals and 16 assists in 31 games.
With 106 AHL games to his credit, Merkulov's total includes 39 goals and 51 assists. Originally signed by Boston in 2022, the Ryazan, Russia native continues to make strides in his career.
