In an unexpected and heartfelt announcement, the Boston Bruins have shared that head coach Jim Montgomery is set to rejoin the team today following the passing of his mother.

The team, which is taking a day off, will resume their activities at Warrior Arena on Sunday, welcoming Montgomery back into their midst.
