With limited cap space this summer, the Bruins have big decisions to make with pending free agents, and we now know what it will cost to keep Dmitry Orlov in Boston.

Is It Worth It to Keep Orlov Around?

Orlov has easily made the largest impact among deadline acquisitions, as the defenseman has registered 12 points in his first 12 games with the Bruins.

According to Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic, the 31-year-old will be looking for a four-year deal at $4.5 to $5 million deal. As per Shinzawa:

''If financial security is Orlov's priority, he is more likely to find richer fortunes elsewhere. He is in the last season of a six-year, $30.6 million contract. Just to match his current $5.1 million average annual value would require the Bruins to execute movement elsewhere.''

If the Bruins wanted to keep Orlov around, they'd likely have to unload at least one of Derek Forbort, Matthew Grzelcyk or even both, as Shinzawa eluded to.

However, would losing a penalty kill specialist like Forbort be worth it to keep Orlov - who turns 32 soon - for four more years?

What are your thoughts?
