After Cam Neely decided to take contract negotiations public, things have taken a ugly turn for the Boston Bruins and Jeremy Swayman.
Ever since the end of the playoffs, Jeremy Swayman has been a restricted free agent, and the Boston Bruins have reportedly been working to get a deal done, especially after trading Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators.
Ever since Cam Neely stated that he would have "$64 million reasons why i would be playing right now" there have been a lot of rumours about Jeremy Swayman's future with the Boston Bruins, and Elliotte Friedman even reported that Jeremy Swayman may request a trade from the Boston Bruins.
The three teams that could land Jeremy Swayman in a trade:
Colorado does not have a true number one goaltender, they have Alexandar Georgiev, but they aren't completely sold on him. Jeremy Swayman would give them the confidence to make another run at the Stanley Cup.
Utah could use an upgrade in the goaltending department, and are one of the only teams in the league with enough cap space to actually sign Jeremy Swayman for what he wants, they also have a lot of draft capital and prospects they could send the Bruins way.
John Gibson has wanted out of the Ducks organization for awhile, and has made a name for himself as a trusted starting goaltender. Sending Gibson along with a first-round pick or some prospects and the Bruins may be intrigued in making a deal.
