Maple Leafs legend Wendel Clark made quite the prediction on the Boston Bruins, despite the historic 2022-23 season the club has put together.
Bold Take or a Real Possibility?
The Bruins are set to play the second place Wild Card team in the playoffs this year and based on their season are the obvious 'Team to Beat'' to make it all the way.
Which other NHL team will be able to take down Boston?
Clark recently appeared on Sportsnet via a Zoom interview, in which he was asked that very question. Leading to a very bold, but unsurprising, prediction from the Toronto icon. See below:
Very surprising that the former captain of the Maple Leafs would say something like that on a Canadian broadcast, right?
Anyways, Toronto has to worry about winning a series for the first time in nearly 20 years before even thinking about Boston in the playoffs. Nevertheless, a postseason serious between the two would be fun to watch.
