Official announcement and it's over for Dallas Stars Joe Pavelski
It has just been announced and it's officially over for Dallas Stars veteran Joe Pavelski.
Joe Pavelski has confirmed the rumors involving his retirement today, and stated that he doesn't plan on coming back to the NHL next season and that he will make everything official during the off-season.
Dallas Stars forward Joe Pavelski says «this is it for me.» Says it's not official official, but said it was known for a long time that this was his last go. «Plan is not to play next season.»
It seems like there could be a possibility that Pavelski comes back next year or in the near future, but he doesn't plan on it.

It sounds like this could be the end, but once again he wouldn't consider it official.
Pavelski was still producing for the Dallas Stars at a crazy rate, at 39 years old he still had 27 goald and 67 points in a full 82 game season with the Stars. In his whole career Pavelski had 476 goals, 1068 points in 1332 games between the San Jose Sharks and the Dallas Stars.
There is no question that he will more than likely end up in the Hockey Hall Of Fame one day.
