The 2024 off-season is sure to be interesting, as many teams, including the Bruins, will look to make roster adjustments.

NHL Insider Frank Seravalli will be busy, as clubs trim and add to their roster and one former Boston Bruin will be on the block.

The player in question is former Bruin, Torey Krug who exercised his NTC in the summer of 2023, to avoid a trade to Philadelphia.

With the Blues re-tooling, Torey Krug will likely be the odd man out, but what could be a problem is his $6.5 Million AAV contract, which runs until the 2026-2027 season.

If the Blues could convince him to waive his full NTC this off-season, there could be suitors for Krug. But Doug Armstrong and the Blues would have to consider eating a portion of his salary to make it happen.

Krug is still a serviceable two-way defenseman, who played 77 games for the Blues this season, scoring 39 goals(4 G, 35 A).

Could Boston make a move to bring this left-shot defenseman home?
