Mark Kastelic goes after ex-Bruin Garnet Hathaway after taking some shots at McAvoy and a brawl broke out
A brawl broke out between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers, and Mark Kastelic went right after former Bruin Garnet Hathaway.
The Boston Bruins cruised their way to a 3-0 win today against the Flyers, but some fireworks happened before the game ended.
Charlie McAvoy was the one who basically started the brawl at the end of the game by boxing out former Boston Bruins forward Garnet Hathaway. Hathaway did not like it and went after Charlie McAvoy, but Mark Kastelic came rushing in to protect his star defenseman and went after Hathaway.
Mark Kastelic looked like he wanted to go with Hathaway, but the refs quickley came in and did not let anything happen, breaking it up basically right away.
Mark Kastelic has been a great addition for the Boston Bruins, not only has he been proforming offensively, but he has also been throwing his weight around and sticking up for his teammates, something the Bruins culture is built around hence the name the "Big Bad Bruins".
Like Bruins Network pointed out following the game, many believed that Kastelic was a throw in for the Boston Bruins in the Ullmark trade, has turned out to be one of the Bruins biggest highlights this year so far, and he isn't scared to get his nose dirty.
Brad Marchand and the whole Bruins bench was loving how the Bruins reacted at the end, defending themselves and not allowing the Flyers to push them around even when they were up 3-0.
