Boston Bruins Matthew Grzelcyk flies under the radar on a club that has the likes of star defensemen such as Charlie McAvoy and Hampus Lindholm.
Grzelcyk is a Charlestown, Massachusetts native and was drafted by his hometown Boston Bruins in the third round (85th overall) at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. In 307 career games with the Bs, the defenseman has recorded 19 goals and 79 assists and is a plus 78.
The 5'9'', 178 lb defenseman makes up for being undersized with his strong defensive abilities, and thanks to @hockeyanalysis on Instagram, we get to see how underrated he really is.
