Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston has pushed the idea for the last couple of months that the Bruins should go "all in" and acquire Vladimir Tarasenko.
Now Jimmy Murphy of CLNS reports that two sources have told him that the Bruins and Blues have held "deep" trade talks.
Murphy adds that the trade talks though have actually centered around Brayden Schenn and not Tarasenko.
While not a sniper likeTarasenko, Schenn is more versatile and can play center or wing and comes with a cheaper cap hit.
The cost to acquire Schenn would likely be cheaper too looking at youngsters like DantonHeinen or Matt Grzelcyk.
Do you think Schenn would be a good addition to the Bruins?
