Connor loved the game of hockey, and had a bright future ahead of himself, here is how he described himself in his NCSA College Recruiting profile.
My name is Connor Kasin and I have been playing Ice Hockey since the age of four. I am an active, social, and encouraging teammate both on and off of the ice. I like to see my self as an active player in the way that I play both with and without the puck. Some things that would make me a good team candidate are my academic ability, leadership qualities, athletic performance, and my character. I can be seen as an overall defensive defenseman when it comes to my style of play. My goals are to get into a great college that provides me with both excellent coaching and education.

This is a heartbreaking event, you never want to hear about a death, let alone someone who is just beginning to live their life. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kasin family and friends.
