Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak gave everyone a good laugh when he came out of the tunnel for warmups with an interesting equipment change following the ceremony the team held for their Centennial celebration.
David Pastrnak entered the ice wearing an old Cooper helmet, and it didn't really look like it fit him, giving many a good laugh.
Take a look:
Here is a different view of Pastrnak with the Cooper bucket:
During a pregame interview with Shawn McKenzie of Sportsnet, David Pastrnak was apparently looking for a wooden stick as well, trying to rock the theme of the old days.
Hopefully this equipment change during warmups can help David Pastrnak find his game as he has been struggling for the Bruins to start the year despite leading the Bruins in points.
David Pastrnak has just 8 goals, 14 assists for 22 points in 25 games for the Bruins, in which he leads the team in all three categories.
The former 60-goal scorer is off to a slow start for the Bruins, and if the team wants to go on any sort of run for the Stanley Cup this year, they are going to need him to start producing.
If Pastrnak can get going, along with the power play and Jeremy Swayman for the Boston Bruins, they are going to be a scary team.
