The Boston Bruins announced that they're sending a forward down to the Providence Bruins of the AHL so that defenseman Brandon Carlo can be activated from the injured reserve.
As per the Bruins PR:
Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, October 25, that the team has assigned forward Jakub Lauko to Providence. Lauko, 22, appeared in four NHL games after making the roster out of training camp this season. The rookie recorded his first career point with an assist on a Nick Foligno goal against the Ottawa Senators.
The Czechia native was selected in the third round (77th overall) by the Bruins in the 2018 Entry Draft. The forward has appeared in 99 AHL games with Providence, registering 13 goals and 31 assists.
Unfortunately for Lauko, as the Bruins get healthier, there isn't a roster spot for him.
