The Boston Bruins are back in action as Tyler Seguin, and the Dallas Stars make their lone visit to TD Garden for the 2022-23 season on Tuesday night.
This has the makings for a big matchup, as both teams only have one regulation loss. The Bruins are 5-1-0 coming in, while the Stars are 4-1-1, and surprisingly both suffered their only regulation loss to the Ottawa Senators.
Dallas played last night against the Senators, and the Bruins have been off since the matinee on Saturday against the Minnesota Wild, so they have to take advantage of a more tired Stars team.
Projected Bruins lines for tonight:
Zacha-Bergeron-DeBrusk
Hall-Krejci-Pastrnak
Frederic-Coyle-Smith
Foligno-Nosek-Greer
Lindholm-Grzelcyk
Forbort-Clifton
Reilly-Carlo
Jim Montgomery announced that Linus Ullmark will start his third consecutive start tonight, making for a terrific goaltender matchup. Ullmark comes in with a 4-0-0 record, a 2.23 GAA and a .929 SV%, while Jake Oettinger of the Stars is also 4-0-0, with a 1.25 GAA and a .959 SV%.
Puck drop is set for 7 pm EST at TD Garden.
