The Boston Bruins have finally made an official decision on injured goaltender Jeremy Swayman.
As per Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic:
''Jeremy Swayman replaces David Krejci on injured reserve. Jim Montgomery reiterated Swayman is week to week.''
Swayman was injured during the third period of the Bruins' 6-5 overtime win over the Pittsburgh Penguins this past Tuesday. Patrice Bergeron fell hard into the netminder's left leg, which hyperextended up against the post, and has since been considered week to week.
The team now has Derek Forbort and Swayman on the IR, Charlie McAvoy on long-term injured reserve and Craig Smith listed as OUT.
