Jagr, 50, is currently the owner of his hometown Ryt�ři Kladno of the Czech Extraliga, where he has also played for the past five years. Earlier in 2022, Jagr announced his intentions to retire from playing, stating he was too busy running the team and lacking the motivation for the physically demanding game.

Since retiring from the NHL during the 2017-18 season, Jagr has appeared in 109 games for Kladno, registering 26 goals and 42 assists.
Jagr spent 24 years in the NHL, including 33 games (11 regular season) with the Boston Bruins. In 1,733 games with the Penguins, Capitals, Rangers, Flyers, Stars, Bruins, Devils, Panthers and Flames.
All time, Jagr ranks 4th in games played (1,733), 4th in goals scored (766), fifth in assists (1,155) and second in points (1,921). That was with 2008 to 2011 spent in the KHL with Avangard Omsk, where he registered 146 points.
