It appears that not only the NHL Draft rumours aren't the only news to make headlines.
Minnesota Wild all-star Kirill Kaprizov is in the news as a warrant was issued for his arrest in his home country.
The arrest warrant was issued after he allegedly left the country and flew back to the United States.
Kaprizov did so after Philadelphia Flyers goaltending prospect Ivan Fedotov was arrested and forced to the Arctic for mandatory military service.
Kaprizov just finished his second season in the NHL, as he set Minnesota Wild records in goals (47), assists (61) and points (108). He signed a five-year, $45 million ($9 million AAV) contract prior to the 2021-22 season.
