Boston Bruins sign 2019 first-rounder to Entry Level Contract

Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today that the club has signed forward Johnny Beecher to a three-year entry-level contract with an annual NHL cap hit of $925,000.
21-year-old Beecher was drafted by the Bruins in the first round (30th overall) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and appeared in nine games for the Providence Bruins on an Amateur Tryout (ATO) in 2021-22, recording three goals and two assists for five points.
The 6'3", 210-lbs centre spent the past three seasons at the University of Michigan, recording 19 goals and 20 assists for 39 points and a plus-14 rating in 81 games for the Wolverines.
The Elmira, NY native also represented the United States at the 2020 World Junior Championships.
