That's right, it's been more than a decade since the B's lost a matchup to the Yotes. On Saturday night, they'll look to keep that streak alive in order to set a new franchise record.
Dating all the way back to 2010, the Bruins have won 17 consecutive games against the Coyotes. That has them tied for the second longest win streak against the same opponent in NHL history.
To get a sense of how long it's been since Boston took an "L" to the Coyotes, the day they got their current win streak going was on the same day that Tyler Seguin scored the first NHL goal of his career!
Want another fun fact? The B's are actually tied with themselves in second place!
The current record holders are the Montreal Canadiens who, between 1974 and 1978, won 23 straight games against the Washington Capitals.
Coming in second on the list for all-time longest winning streaks against a single opponent are the Bruins, who won 17 straight games against the Ottawa Senators between 1992 and 1995.
The B's managed to tie their own franchise record earlier this season, when they skated to a 2-1 win over the Coyotes back in January, their 17th straight victory over the desert dogs.
Tonight, they'll be looking to extend that run to 18 games, setting a new Boston franchise record and taking over sole possession of second place for the NHL all-time record.
