The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney made a couple of roster announcements on Thursday.�
The team has placed Brendan Gaunce, Paul Carey and Alex Petrovic on waivers.�
With Petrovic's name in the mix, that means the team has signed him to a contract after he went through training camp on a PTO.�
Both Carey and Gaunce should clear waivers and join the Providence training camp.�
