BREAKING: Cole Caulfield will miss the remainder of the season

The Montreal Canadiens odds to win the Connor Bedard Draft Lottery just got a little better.
This morning, the Canadiens announced that forward Cole Caulfield will miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season. The club released the following statement:
�'Caufield suffered a season-ending injury to his right shoulder and will undergo surgery in the near future. An update of his recovery period will be issued after the medical procedures.''
The 22-year-old has broken out in a big way under head coach Martin St. Louis. In 46 games this season, Caufield registered 26 goals and 10 assists.
