The Vegas Golden Knights have had their fair share of significant injuries over the past couple of seasons.
Most specifically, they're their captain Mark Stone. Who - according to Jesse Granger of The Athletic - is out indefinitely after undergoing major surgery.
''The Golden Knights have announced Mark Stone underwent back surgery yesterday and will be out of the lineup indefinitely.''
Stone, who last played on January 12th, has registered 17 goals and 21 assists in 43 games this season.
This is the 30 year old's second major back surgery in under 12 months, and as Granger reports, suffered another setback:
''Mark Stone began rehabbing his back after an injury on July 12, but after another setback the team determined another surgery was the best course of action.''
The Golden Knights are still hanging on, as they sit third in the Pacific Division with a 29-18-4 record.
