The latest was the most recent transaction by the Minnesota Wild, who placed a 2016 first-round draft pick on waivers. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman broke the news:
Tyson Jost was originally selected 10th overall by the Colorado Avalanche at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft and was traded to the Wild last season for forward Nico Sturm.
The 24-year-old has just three assists in 12 games on a struggling Minnesota team this season. In 354 NHL games, Jost has recorded 47 goals and 65 assists, with a career-high 26 points in 2018-19.
