Earlier this week, there was rumblings that David Pastrnak's camp and the Bruins weren't close to a deal.
However, Pasta's agent JP Barry shared with Pierre LeBrun that negotiations with the Don Sweeney were ongoing.
Less than 48 hours later, and new reports are that a deal between the two parties appears to be very close. As per Rich Keefe of WEEI:
Scoops Keefe: The Bruins and David Pastrnak are finalizing an 8 year deal worth $88 million.
If this is true, announcing a deal before the Winter Classic at Fenway Park is the perfect timing!
