The top 16 picks for the 2022 NHL Draft are now set

The NHL Draft Lottery for the number one overall pick will be held this evening at NHL Network's studio in Secaucus, N.J. The broadcast will begin at 6:30 p.m. EST on ESPN, ESPN+, Sportsnet, SN NOW and TVA Sports.
The lottery will determine the first 16 picks in the draft. Representatives from the lottery teams will join the broadcast remotely rather than in the studio. NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly will once again be the one to reveal the team cards.

It will be the first time that the Montreal Canadiens will select first overall since 1980. The 2022 NHL Draft will also be held in Montreal on Thursday, July 7th and 8th.
